Digital Signage Request Form
Purpose
The Phoenix College Digital Signage System is used for important announcements and events pertaining to Phoenix College.
Content Creation
Slides should be created as a PowerPoint, Photoshop, or a picture format (jpg or png). Slides created in Photoshop or as a picture format should have a resolution of 1920x1080 and 72 dpi. Slides can also be created using one of the provided PowerPoint templates. The templates are also provided to assist you in choosing the appropriate font size for optimum viewing. Hints: Choose only two fonts or less per slide. Stick two a color scheme of 3 colors or less. Photos and logos should not be stretched.
Posting Guidelines
Digital signage is classified as public or local. The public digital signage in areas such as the Student Union and Hannelly Center is for emergency announcements, college enrollment information, and general departmental announcements. Departments/Organization or organization specific content will be limited to two active slides at a time on public displays.
Signage classified as local is primarily for department and emergency announcements. Some college information may be posted on local signage.
Copyrighted Content
At no time can slides on the Phoenix College Digital Signage System contain copyrighted material without a proper legal release. It is the responsibility of the department creating the content to use original content, content that is copyright free, or to obtain a release. Any slides found to contain copyrighted material without a proper release will not be posted or will be immediately removed.
