Students looking for a career where they can use their creativity or make a difference in the lives of others can find several options within Phoenix College’s Applied Technology, Family and Consumer Sciences Department. Program areas include:
Child and Family Studies: Students who want to make a difference by teaching young children, directing a child care program, or working with families, will find excellent opportunities within the Child & Family Studies program. Areas of study: Early Childhood Education & Administration and Family Development
Fashion Design: The Fashion Design program prepares students for employment in the fashion industry with employers such as apparel companies, wholesale establishments, design firms, retailers, and theatre or dance companies.
Interior Design: Utilize your interest in space, color, and aesthetics in a career in the Interior Design industry. Phoenix College’s Interior Design Program has earned national recognition and offers a well-rounded curriculum to prepare you for a creative career.
