Emergency Medical Technology and Fire Science
Students can earn an Arizona State EMT Certification,Firefighter I & II Certification, a Certificate of Completion (CCL) and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree.
- Our AAS Degree can transfer into the Bachelors of Applied Science (BAS) Degree program at ASU West or ASU East and Ottawa University.
- If you are a current EMT we offer refresher courses every month that allow you to maintain your Arizona State and National Registry Certification. The department also provides additional training in Firefighting, Special Operations, and advanced EMS. Visit the links below for program information.
Paralegal Studies
The program provides students with the education and training necessary to obtain entry-level employment in private law firms, corporations, governmental agencies, and other organizations such as insurance companies, real estate and title insurance firms, and banks.
- The Paralegal Studies Program at Phoenix College is the largest program of its kind in Arizona and has been approved by the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Paralegals since 1989.
