Tardeada con Mariachi: M.E.Ch.A. Reunion with AACHE and MACHE Retirees

Join us on April 20th from 5:30 -7:00 pm for a reunion of Phoenix College MEChA Alumni and retired PC Faculty and Staff.  The reunion will include the following:

  • A host bar and appetizers reception from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. (Permission to serve alcohol is pending)
  • Access to a Mariachi Festival from 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. Hosted by Phoenix College’s Mariachi Osos del Valle. 
  • An exhibit at the reception by Dr. Pete Dimas titled “Palimpsests of Arizona History.”
  • Attendance by special guests, Dr. Pete Dimas, Elsa Avila and MCCCD Chancellor Dr. Steven Gonzales. 

The objective of this gathering is to raise $20,000 to provide financial assistance for current MEChA and PC students. The funds will be utilized to student travel to leaderships and cultural trips at MEChA conferences and study abroad programs. Your support is crucial in ensuring the success of this initiative and helping current MEChA club members benefit from these valuable opportunities.

The admission fee includes the following:

    2. Only 100 tickets are available
  2. $100 Reception Only ($92 tax deduction)
    1. Access to the reception only
  3. Donation Only (tax-deductible)

    1. Can't attend, but would like to support MEChA

      Here are the steps to donate:

      1. Choose "I cannot attend, but would like to support MECha" 
      2. Select the number "1" from the drop-down menu.
      3. Input the donation amount (e.g., $100) in the "Additional donation" field at the bottom of the web form.
