John Paul Theatre

Located on the northern end of the Phoenix College campus, the award-winning John Paul Theatre (a modified thrust), is host to several community and in-house theatrical productions including dramas, comedies, Spanish-langauge plays, Theatre for Young Audiences, and musicals each year. The theatre is fully equipped with lighting, audio, and video technology for theatrical productions and events. With a seating capacity of 267, the theatre is ADA accessible, providing unobstructed views of the stage area from all sides.

Facilities Space Request

Theatre Program

One of the oldest and most respected theatre programs in Arizona, has long proven to be a strong platform for fostering the growth of performing artists and theatre technicians. The program offers students the opportunity to earn an undergraduate AA transferable degree with an emphasis in acting, directing, technical work and design. The department has garnered numerous awards for excellence in theatre production and education.
