Patient Care Technician
PCT Details
THEORY & HANDS-ON TRAINING The PCT Course consists of both lab and classroom training. Labs require students to practice and demonstrate baseline nursing skills, as well as testing-related competencies, including EKGs and Phlebotomy. WORK-BASED EXPERIENCE Work Based Experience offers invaluable real-world training. Patient Care Technician students are eligible to participate in a 40-hour clinical externship.

Pharmacy Technician Details
COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING Taught through both lab and classroom settings, the Pharmacy Technician Program will prepare you for exams required to enter the field. The curriculum is also valuable for existing healthcare professionals who'd like to expand skill sets; or as career exploration, for students considering 4-year Pharmacy Programs at other colleges. Topics include:

LICENSING EXAM PREPARATION Upon completion of the course, students are eligible to take the following exams:
• The Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) Exam, Pharmacy Technician Certified Board
• The Pharmacy Technician (PTAC) Exam, National Workforce Career Association, NWCA
