Phi Theta Kappa recognizes and encourages scholarship, the development of leadership and service, and cultivates fellowship among students at PC, and colleges throughout Arizona and the United States.
PTK is the only scholastic honor society recognized by the American Association of Community Colleges.

Membership in Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society will open new doors for your academic journey. The organization offers a myriad of opportunities for scholarships, intellectual enrichment, and personal development through programs based on Phi Theta Kappa’s four hallmarks of:

As a member, your academic excellence will be recognized with the Golden Key Membership Pin, membership certificate, and identification card. Notation of membership will appear on your diploma and transcripts. You'll also have the privilege of wearing regalia at graduation that sets you apart as a Phi Theta Kappa member.

FAQs
Phi Theta Kappa FAQ
You must have completed 12 hours of coursework, leading to a degree; and have a GPA of 3.35, or higher.
If you meet the requirements, you'll automatically receive an invitation with a passcode. The only way to join is online.
To start, visit the PTK website and click "Log In." Next, click "Accept Membership." Enter the passcode you received from the invitation you received during the current semester.
The one-time fee of $80 is paid when you become a member.
After induction, members must simply maintain a GPA of 3.0 to remain active.
Active participation in the chapter is not a requirement; and no service activities are required to maintain the benefits of membership.
However, you'll want to consider the benefits of being an active member which include:
- Opportunities to increase your leadership skills
- Fellowship of participating in service projects
- Scholarship opportunities
