Religious Studies examines the development of various religions around the world from prehistoric to modern times. These religions are studied within the political, economic, social and geographical contexts in which they were developed and are currently practiced.

Program Curriculum

Phoenix College offers courses in American Indian Religions, Religion and the Modern World, and World Religions.

Although PC does not offer a degree in Religious Studies, the classes are lower division collegiate courses that may transfer to a four-year college or university as elective credits; program requirement credits; and/or graduation requirements for the receiving institution.
