The College Police Department provides for the security and safety of the campus community. The College Police Department maintains a cooperative working relationship with the Phoenix Police Department and will request assistance as needed. The team of public safety officers at Phoenix College is committed to providing a professional service for the students, staff and guests who attend, work, or visit our teaching-learning community. We constantly strive to assure that our campus environment is safe, accessible, cheerful, and conducive to academic achievement
The College Police Officers serve the Phoenix College campus with pride and professionalism.
The primary role of the College Police Department is to provide assistance and campus protection to students, employees and visitors. Other services provided include:
- Campus Incident Reporting
- Emergency Notification Procedures
- Managing Lost and Found Property
- Parking Decals
- Assistance with Disabled Vehicles
The department is located in the north end of the Parking Garage and is in operation twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The telephone number is 602.285.7254, or on campus, extension 57254. For emergencies 602.285.7911 or ext. 57911.
The department has a staff of 7 full-time College Police Officers and 19 part time Public Safety Aides. The College Police Officers are certified Police Officers and therefore, are empowered with the authority to conduct investigations and make arrests.
