ACE
During your high school sophomore year, PC ACE recruiters come to some of the high schools in the Phoenix Union High School District and give students ACE applications and information regarding PC's ACE Program.

The PC ACE Program recruits sophomores from the following high schools within the Phoenix Union High School District and other districts across Phoenix:
Alhambra High School
Camelback High School
Carl Hayden High School
Central High School
Franklin Police & Fire High School
Girls Leadership Academy
Empower College Preparatory Academy
Metro-Tech High School
North High School
Phoenix Coding Academy
Washington High School
*Any eligible high school sophomore student in the Phoenix area can apply for the PC ACE Program.
Tuition for up to 24 credit hours - a value of over $2,000
Trips to in-state universities such as U of A, ASU, and NAU
Hands-on workshops such as Problem-Solving, Personal Statement, Career Exploration, and more.
All the rights and privileges provided to Phoenix College Students including:
Counseling, Advisement, Library Resources, Career Center Resources, Scholarships, Financial Aid, and Special Services
Yes, each class will have a syllabus with the number of absences each instructor allows per semester. The ACE program encourages students not to be absent more than two times but students should follow the syllabus for each class they take.
It is very important that your current address and telephone number is always on file with the ACE Program
Yes, you are able to participate in other activities outside of the ACE Program. However, we strongly encourage our students to not overwhelm themselves with too much and not have scheduling conflicts with our program times.
Yes! It is possible to successfully manage both programs at once and earn more than 24 college credits.
No, we do not offer transportation for our students. We do offer a limited amount of bus passes depending on the circumstances.
Yes, we require parents to attend orientation and other activities throughout your participation in the program.
A typical day in the ACE Program depends on the semester.
