However big your goals are, our Creative Writing program will sharpen your skills and provide you a supportive community of writers and instructors to help you become a strong, confident writer.

Why Phoenix College?

Attention, storytellers — Phoenix College's Creative Writing program offers courses that range from early composition to writing fiction and poetry to studying literacy and critical inquiry. Students may also get a taste of their future behind the desk by becoming a writer for PC's Literary Zine, RISE.

PC’s Creative Writing program offers an Associate in Arts, Emphasis in English (Creative Writing) and an Academic Certificate in Creative Writing. Completion of our creative writing courses can lead to graduate school or work in the fields of freelance writing, marketing, and even author of books.
