DISCOUNTED VOUCHERS | CARPOOL PARKING PASSES
Student Life & Leadership wants to help students, and full-time employees, improve their commutes. Save money, avoid stress, and improve air quality by participating in two programs: Discounted Mass Transit Vouchers and Carpool Parking Passes.
During the fall semester, complete the MCCCD Travel Reduction Survey—an important tool used by county and state officials for planning transportation and environmental initiatives.
Travel Reduction Survey
MCCCD Travel Reduction Survey
Phoenix College surveys full-time students, and employees, about their commutes annually. The tallied results allow PC, and other schools within the District, to report if we've been reducing our carbon footprint over time. Data is also used to plan future pollution-reducing incentives that make sense for our community.

Carpooling

PARK IN THE BEST SPACES
Registered carpool groups enjoy convenient parking areas that are reserved especially for them. Participating is easy, and is open to current students, and employees!
Carpooling
Carpool Parking Passes
Many PC commuters share carpool to campus, taking advantage of convenient spaces in the North and West Lots. These reserved spaces are open on a first-come, first-served basis.
HOW TO APPLY
A carpool consists of two or more current employees, or registered students. There is no charge for participating. Two steps must be completed before carpoolers receive a Carpool Pass, which will entitle them to park in specially designated spaces in college lots. Those who begin using the spaces without receiving a pass will be ticketed.
- Complete the Carpool Application The application must be completed at the Office of Student Life & Leadership.
Each member of the carpool should be present, and have their Student or Employee ID on hand. If they've forgotten their Student ID, they can present a state-issued photo ID, and their Student/Employee ID number, so enrollment (or work status) for the semester can be verified. The application must be signed by each member of the carpool.
- Apply for the Carpool Parking Permit After the group is officially registered, one member of the carpool must apply online for a Carpool Parking Permit. This final step will ensure you receive the Carpool Pass which will be displayed in the lot.
Only one Carpool Pass will be provided for all members of the carpool. It can displayed in any member's vehicle. Approved carpools designate one member to pick up the pass at the Office of Student Life & Leadership. In extenuating circumstances, the pass can be sent to you.
Users must display the pass properly, as discussed below, or risk being ticketed by College Police.
DISPLAYING THE PASS
The pass must be displayed hanging from the vehicle's rear view mirror. Any vehicle, regardless of registration status, that is parked in a carpool space without a properly-displayed Carpool Pass will be ticketed. Carpool participants must follow all college parking regulations, as described by the College Police.
