Our hands-on program will empower you with in-depth knowledge of human development, teaching and learning theories, instructional strategies, and effective classroom practices—in addition to real-world classroom experience.

At Phoenix College, you’ll build the foundation needed to become an effective educator while gaining practical experience that prepares you for today’s classrooms. Our program is designed for students planning to transfer to a university to complete a bachelor’s degree and pursue teacher certification.
