Library Displays
The Phoenix College Library provides space for exhibits or displays using any combination of the following selection criteria:
The display….
- Promotes the library and its collection
- Meets the curricular needs of Phoenix College
- Contributes to ongoing campus events
- Provides information about an individual, group, or theme that would be of interest to the local community
Other factors considered include the availability of space and library staff to facilitate the work involved in the setting up and taking down of the exhibit.
The Phoenix College Library is an institution that supports the free expression of diverse points of view and will not exclude works based on the “origin, background, or views of those contributing to the work.” Furthermore, “materials should not be proscribed or removed because of partisan or doctrinal disapproval.” (Articles I & II of the American Library Association’s Library Bill of Rights)
